Real DMZ projects 2015
EVERYTHING IS REALLY GOING TO BE ALRIGHT is an homage to a site-specific work by Martin Creed, Work No. 203: EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT (1999). ‘EVERYTHING IS REALLY GOING TO BE ALRIGHT’ is meant to be comforting, as it is an optimistic kind of expression. This phrase is the summary of a continuous inner monologue I experience regarding the conscious and unconscious exposure to the tension of confrontation between the North and the South, as well as to the previous history of this specific site. Simultaneously, this phrase, which doesn’t specify its audience, is able to deliver a different meaning or realization to each individual who encounters it.
